Well.....here we are.....again.....Microsoft attempting to impress us with yet another variant of the worlds most popular operating system.
And.....
Yeah this one sucks! Bad! So bad black holes are running from it!
So I'm gonna call it now, while Windows 11 is still in Beta...
What we have here is a failure to communicate!
-Cool Hand Luke
You said it Paul! This is another Windows 8 level of suck. Windows Vista bad. Dare I say Windows ME level of pure doggie dodo.
I don't know why Microsoft can't learn from past mistakes. But they never do. And here we are again.
So Windows 11, to protect us from all the evil dwarves and elves, will require TPM enabled to install. What is TPM? In a nut shell, it's a chip on your motherboard that tells the operating system "we haven't been touched in a bad way, go ahead and load!"
Problem is, the version they are requiring of TPM is so new, not all motherboards will have it. Even worse, you will need either a 4th Gen Intel processor or 2nd Gen AMD processor to install it! Double wammy!
Then, if that wasn't bad enough, you must have a Microsoft account to install and configure Windows 11. Yet another username and password I won't remember.
So those that don't know or have forgotten, Microsoft tried this with Windows 8. In addition to the removal of the start menu, was by far the biggest flop Microsoft has had.
And there about to do it again!
So.....quick note.....stay away from Windows 11 like it's all varients of COVID rolled into a single operating system!
We'll see what happens at formal release, but it's not looking good.
So disappointed.
